Honored to be a Winner

I am so honored to be congratulated by The Poetry Society of Virginia.  Today I found out that I won second place in this writing competition for my poem "Island Cats." I am so happy that a piece inspired by my travels to Greece last year has interested others and I am delighted to know that the poems that I have put heart into are being noticed.
